In this inspection, we evaluate
Our inspection may include the following components, depending on site conditions and accessibility:
Static water level measurement
Measurement of the water level at rest prior to testing.Controlled flow test
Measure water flow (GPM / LPM) using calibrated equipment, typically through an exterior hose bib connected directly to the well system (filters and softeners bypassed when possible).Drawdown observation
Monitoring how the water level responds during controlled water usage.Recovery Test
Measuring how quickly the well recovers after pumping stops, providing insight into aquifer recharge characteristics.Pressure system review
General observations of the pressure tank, pressure switch operation, and pressure stability during use.Well Construction Review (when records are available)
Review of Nova Scotia well records, including:Total depth
Bedrock depth
Water-bearing fracture depths
Original reported yield (if available).
